Detailed Description

Day 1 – Arrive in Chamonix at whatever time works best for your travel schedule. We’ll be expecting you at your arrival time you provided us prior to the trip. Head to the chalet to drop your bags off and settle in to our accommodations. Depending on time of day, grab a travel partner and head in town to walk around and grab a bite to eat. Welcome to Chamonix!

Day 2 – We will leisurely head to the Aiguille du Midi cable car to take a ride up to over 12,000ft! Pack a jacket. We will do some sightseeing, hiking to acclimate, and exploring. We will head back down to town for dinner.

Day 3 – This is our mountaineering prep day. We will get fitted for our rentals and pick up all the equipment we need. We will pack our mountaineering packs and do some food prep for the mountains.

Day 4 – We will travel as a group to the town of Tour where we will ride a cable car up into the mountains. From there, we will start our “approach” for the summit. We will hike about 2 hours up to the Refuge Albert Premier, a luxurious alpine hut where we will spend the night in the mountains. We’ll have a catered dinner at the hut and head to bed early.

Day 5 – An alpine start while it is still dark outside will likely await us. We will rise, eat a catered breakfast, then start our journey uphill for an attempt at the summit. In the afternoon, we will return to the Hut, gather all our things, and finish our descent back down via the cable car. Have a hearty, well-deserved dinner in Chamonix.

Day 6 – Choose your own adventure! This day will be up to you! Some possible options include

  • Rock Climbing (via Ferrata)
  • Whitewater Rafting
  • Paragliding
  • Exploring Chamonix
  • Hiking

Day 7 – Depart Chamonix on your own travel plans. Safe travels!
